Applicant Agreement

This Agreement applies to individuals creating an applicant account or applying for opportunities through Teeny.

1. Age

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Your information

Information you provide must be truthful and reasonably accurate. Do not claim qualifications you do not have, invent experience, use another person's identity, submit forged documents or deliberately mislead organisations.

3. Choosing opportunities

You are responsible for deciding whether an opportunity is suitable for you. Before accepting, read the description, location, time commitment, payment or stipend information, eligibility requirements and relevant safety information. Ask the organisation if anything important is unclear.

4. Sharing application information

When you apply for an opportunity, you authorise Teeny to provide the relevant organisation with information necessary to consider your application. This may include your profile, CV, contact information and application answers.

5. Recruitment decisions

The organisation advertising an opportunity ordinarily decides whom to interview or select. Teeny does not guarantee a response, interview, selection, employment, future employment or reference.

6. Never pay for a job

Be cautious if anyone asks you to pay to secure a job, transfer money before an interview, provide a banking PIN, purchase suspicious compulsory products, send cryptocurrency or provide online banking login details. Report suspicious requests to Teeny.

7. Safety

If an opportunity appears unsafe, misleading or materially different from its listing, you should not continue simply because you applied through Teeny. Where there is immediate danger, contact appropriate emergency services or law enforcement.

8. Behaviour

• Do not harass or threaten organisation representatives.
• Do not commit fraud or theft.
• Do not misuse confidential information.
• Do not discriminate unlawfully.
• Do not use Teeny for illegal activity.

9. Account suspension

Teeny may restrict or suspend an account where there is a reasonable concern involving fraud, impersonation, harassment, repeated serious misconduct, misuse of personal information, platform abuse or breach of applicable terms.

10. Platform role

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific opportunity, Teeny facilitates connections between applicants and independent organisations and is not the applicant's employer.

11. Acceptance

By creating an account or submitting an application, you agree to this Applicant Agreement, the Teeny Terms and Conditions and the Teeny Privacy Policy.
